A simple and delicious recipe idea using our fresh Yorkshire rainbow trout fillets - super healthy and full of vitamins and nutrients. The fish shape chips are fantastic fun to make with your little mini-cooks!
Ingredients:
Trout
Lime infused Oil
Nutmeg
Chaource cheese
Fish shape potatoes
Asparagas
Leeks
Herbs
Salt & Pepper
Begin by slicing up your potatoes and then using your favourite cookie cutter to cut the potato slices into cute shapes for baking! We used a fish cookie cutter!
Next chop up your leeks and place them into a pan with your asparagus. Boil until soft and tender!
Place your potato shapes onto a baking tray and drizzle with oil. Season according to taste. Cook for approximately 30 minutes or until browning round the edges and soft in the middle.
Next, take your trout and place onto a sheet of tinfoil on a baking sheet. Drizzle with lime infused oil and season with your favourite herbs followed with salt and pepper! We used ground nutmeg to bring some warmth!
Your potato shapes should look like this!
If you have children this is a great way to get them interested in different vegetables!
