TROUT FISHCAKES

A perfect fishcakes recipe for all the family to enjoy!

Ingredients


Wansford Trout

4 Potatoes

1 Carrot

1 Leek

Peas

Salt & Pepper


How To:


Begin by boiling your potatoes and carrots for 15 minutes or until tender. Drain and mash them together.


Next poach your trout for 5 minutes and break up the fish into flakes, making sure there are no bones as you flake. Mix into the mash mixture.


Fry the leek and carrot/potato mash together before using your hands to mould into fish shapes. A fish shaped cookie cutter makes this super easy!


For fish shaped chips cut out fish shapes and roast!


Serve with peas!
